my pal is suffering from severe ocd and is still in physical pain 25/7. their mother has just lost a lot from a colectomy and is still recovering physically and psychologically from the procedure, while also being a 3x survivor from cancer. neither are able to work due to these issues and have been suffering deeply.
if you can't assist monetarily, assist with resources to help them navigate this world with these challenges as they are both disabled and need help.
i promised i would run this campaign for them until they can flip this situation on its backside and live peacefully -- so ANY and ALL contributions are welcome!!!

my mom and i are seeking community help to assist us through a pretty rough time.
i am currently waiting for ssi to make a determination for my disability; during which, i am unable to work and it has put us all in a difficult situation.
my mother is also still recovering physically and psychologically from surgery (colectomy) due to cancer.
she is a 3x cancer survivor and has to carry the weight of being in distress because we are drowning financially. we don't have any extra help outside of us to support us financially, so we are taking the step to reach out. she has put herself in debt in order to keep us afloat
- rent - $541
- groceries - $200
- we could also use uber gift cards for both of us; my mother just had surgery but still needs to get out, go places, and pay our rent. i have contamination OCD and due to the COVID pandemic and agoraphobia, uber is the only safe choice from me mentally.
- based on trying to keep us afloat, we are over $13,000 in debt from this whole ordeal.
these are the things that we struggle with bill-wise, and any assistance to uplift would be greatly appreciated.
we understand the balance may not be cleared to its entirety; but we do appreciate any help -- temporary or otherwise!
here are some things we could appreciate funds for as well
- self care items
- $ for a bed frame (i have scoliosis and the bed support is not for me. the one i have in mind is $80)
- things like a new mop
- arm bands for reasons related to my OCD
